McAdams Insurance combines a legacy of expertise and customer service with modern, progressive and responsive management.  We began in La Grande with a specialty in logging and trucking and expanded through consolidation with Trails West Insurance in Baker City.  By consolidating this wide range of expertise into one organization, we have excellent resources and specialized focus for our customers.  All of our insurance specialists are Certified Insurance Counselors (CIC) and our formalized training program keeps us on the constantly on the leading edge.

Founder Lance Adams, recognizing his Irish ancestry, chose the name McAdams as the name of his agency in 1995 as he began expanding his company to broaden coverage and assimilate quality expertise to become a regional insurance leader.  This organization provides a very broad range of coverage types but, with in-depth specialized coverage in each, a unique benefit for our customers. This means that we have a specialists in logging, trucking, personal, aviation, health, auto and nearly all other fields.  You don't need to shop for a generalist and then several specialists insurance companies.  McAdams is structured to handle each type in depth.  We are structured to be your complete insurance agency.

We are involved in the local communities that we serve to keep up to date on trends and requirements.  To stay abreast of the industry we engage in continuing education programs to keep our staff in a leadership position and we are members of the Independent Insurance Agents of Oregon (IIAO) and Trusted Choice®.
